Lodging is available in White Lake from Tuesday evening through Friday morning.. We will be camping on Friday and Saturday nights at Wausau Whitewater. Hotels can be found nearby.
Course fee: $750 for 5 day course
White Lake lodging: $150 (3 nights)

Wausau Whitewater weekend course fees will be paid by participants.

Our canoe skills progression is designed to meet you at your existing skill level, whether you are a beginner-intermediate-advanced solo or tandem canoeist. We recommend taking 3-5 days of our progression for best results.
The Buttercup Slalom Race may be happening on Saturday the 16th!

Jordan (he/they) has been instructing canoeing since 1993 at many of the top canoe programs: Madawaska Canoe Center, NOLS, NC Outward Bound, and Davidson College. He is an ACA Level 4 Canoe Instructor Trainer Educator. There are ways of moving in whitewater that only canoes can capture. Come join us for fun and excitement, open boat style!
Beginner: Day 1-2
Intermediate: Day 2-4
Intermediate+/Advanced: Day 3-5
SCHEDULE: Day 1 Flatwater Strokes, drills and Maneuvers, Intro to moving water
Venue: Pond, and easy moving water
Day 2 moving water drills and intro to rapid running. Venue:Easy Moving water, easy rapid
Day 3 Flatwater stroke refinement
Moving water Drills, Rapid Running.
Pond, easy moving water, Class 1-2+ river running (Boy Scout Camp to Hwy M)
Day 4 Flatwater tune up, moving water drills, river running (Boy Scout Camp to Gilmores)
Day 5 advanced Flatwater drills, whitewater drills river running. Peshtigo?!
