Swiftwater Safety and Rescue Program

  We  welcome and celebrate all the colors, genders, body types, abilities,  and communities who might enjoy rivers.  We believe the world is a better place when diversity flourishes. We value the LGBTQ+ and non-binary community, BIPOC from varied cultures,  veterans of the military, and equity for groups who have been mistreated and marginalized. 

We know our lived experiences and the degree to  which we feel represented and welcomed outside can differ a lot based on  the identities we carry with us, visible or not.

We want to play on rivers with you!  

We strive for clean creeks, rivers, oceans, and mountains, maintaining forests, leaving no trace.
